Day 21 (Sept 4) I am… the God of Joy

Father God, I praise You because you are a shield around me; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head when I am weary or despised. (Psalm 3:3)

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. - Psalm 24:7
 
Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride upon it, and dissolvest my substance. - Job 30:22
 
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. - James 4:10
 
He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. - Psalm 18:48

Day 20 (Sept 3) I am… your Liberator and Deliverer

I will praise You because you are my help and my deliverer… (Ps. 70:5) In my time of trouble, I can call upon You, and you will deliver me. (Ps. 50:15)

And he said, The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; - 2 Samuel 22:2
 
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - Psalm 18:2
 
But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God. - Psalm 40:17

Day 19 (Sept 2) I am… God Who Answers Prayer

I praise You because Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the skies (Ps. 36:5), and great is your faithfulness. (Lam. 3:23)

Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; - Deuteronomy 7:9
 
God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. - 1 Corinthians 1:9
 
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. - 1 Corinthians 10:13
 
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. - 2 Thessalonians 3:3

 
I praise and honor You, Father, because You are a God who loves to answer prayer and who begins to answer even before I pray. (Isaiah 65:24)

Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah. - Psalm 81:7
 
For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth him in the joy of his heart. - Ecclesiastes 5:20

Day 18 (Sept 1) I am… the God who Heals and Performs Miracles

 Father, I praise You because You are the Lord who heals me. (Exodus 15:26)

And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils: - Mark 3:15
 
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee. - Exodus 15:26
 
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; - Psalm 103:3
 
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. - Psalm 147:3

 
 
Lord, I praise You because You are the God who performs miracles: you display your power among the people. (Psalm 77:14)

Remember his marvelous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; - 1 Chronicles 16:12
 
Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvelous things without number: - Job 5:9
 
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. - John 14:11
